Portal is a book of images, created during the summer of 2007 between Ghost Ranch in northern New Mexico and San Jose, California. It explores ancient symbols, petroglyphs, cave paintings, labyrinths, female symbols, death and rebirth. The "story" evolves as a creation of a labyrinth.

Two sections are sewn as one, with a center pop-up page. Arches Text Wove paper is layered with acrylic paint, wheat paste, pochoir, masking, handcarved rubberstamps and stitching. Black, white, gray and red. Handpainted and stitched slipcase.
